We are hiring a Systems Engineer V to support a NAVSEA program for Ship Integrity and Performance Engineering based in Washington, DC in a hybrid capacity.
What will you do?
- Leads the planning and designing of an organization's systems infrastructure.
- Ensures the accuracy and effectiveness of the system to meet business/customers' requirements.
- Monitors the performance of systems and suggests improvements.
- Verifies and reviews system related documents/reports including installation procedures.
- Works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms.
- May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.
- Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
Do you have what it takes?
- At least 10 years of experience and Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Pay Range: VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $95,000 - $138,000, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
